“We estimate that Wandering Star will enter beta in early 2019, with the aim to fully release and leave early access in Summer 2019.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Current large updates planned and more will come as the game progresses.
  • Online multiplayer for both Story and Survival.
  • Multiple Turret and Wall upgrade "paths" that you can build.
  • Being able to pick your unique abilities for each character.
  • Leveling up your player every time you play to slowly get stronger or unlock better abilities.
  • Achievements! Because who does not love them?
  • Possible "Texture packs" that will give a whole new look to the game.
  • And many more planned!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Graphics/Effects
  • Currently lots of placeholders for better or newer images.
  • No sound effects. There are 2 background music tracks.
Gameplay
  • Split-screen multiplayer.
  • No online multiplayer.
  • Simple goal of collecting parts and surviving long enough to get them.
  • Temp end game screen to show how well you did that game.
  • No saving.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.
These price changes will most likely happen around large steps but limited to "Beta" and "Full release"
There will be info on when pricing will change in the future, and will not randomly change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Many questions or ideas about play style might come up. We are active on Discord, Twitter and Youtube to see what others might think. Do not want to spend hours of work into something that no one might like or play, when that time can be worked on to sometihng everyone might enjoy.”

Player Select's Core was rebuilt to handle future updates.

When building at the time of a win/loss, crashing.
Stun ability for Scientist not working.
All storage sharing the resources.

Was able to upgrade and remove without using the Wench on large buildings.

About This Game

You are a team of researchers going to explore a planet for possible colonization. Unexpected storms have crashed your ship and you are now stranded on the planet's surface. Pick your class from 4, each with their own skills and abilities. search out for parts to help repair the ship and send in for some help. There is an uneasy feeling you are not alone.

A survival game where you have to go around on the planet and mine resources to find parts inside them. Once you find a part, bring it back to the ship to help repair and get off the planet. Over time there will be enemies that come, because of finding out you are there and will get harder. Build up your defenses around the ship long enough to hold out the attacks, while you find parts to get off the planet. Each character you can pick from has their own abilities and skills to help out with your play style. Do you think you can hold out and get off the planet?

Work together with your friends in local co-op and try to take on harder difficulties!
