Why Early Access?

“World of Myths is a Collectible Card Game. That requires a lot of balancing and fine-tuning not only for the card effects but for the core game mechanics as well. We want to deliver a simple and dynamic game that has the depth required for any eSport.

We plan to have scheduled releases every 2 weeks (Thursday) with small fix patches in between.

We are in a true alpha state and our community feedback means a lot. We already have a nice community in Discord helping us make the right decisions and would love you to join us.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our plans are to have the game fully available in Q2-Q3 2019. We are currently growing our team and our roadmap depends on the onboarding speed of our new team members.

It also depends on your feedback and the features we decide together to put in.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“From the list below you can see that we have plenty of work ahead of us and the best way to deliver an amazing experience is by listening to your feedback so don't be shy and shout out.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“World of Myths is playable both in multiplayer Casual and Ranked Modes and a Practice vs AI. We have just 3 playable Mythologies (out of 8) - Greek, Norse, Japanese. The servers are pretty stable and we do frequent client and server updates. We have an active community playing the game so waiting time should not take long.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game free to play during the Early Access and keep it this way when released.

We have a Founders Pack offer that will be available only during the Early Access and it is a great way to show your support if you like what we are doing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“This is a heavily community influenced game.
Even now our community proposes new cards and abilities which are already presented in the game. We are also improving our UI and UX based on community feedback.
We have many future development plans that are coming from our existing community.”

[1] Fixed connectivity issues for most players. Fixed freezes.
[2] Priest of the Crow ("Summon: Put a Viking Recruit on this card's left.") Power increased from 0 to 1. Endurance increased from 1 to 2.
[3] Toll Takers fixed if only the enemy leader is attacking.
[4] Multiple text updates (mostly suggestions by the community)

About This Game

KEY FEATURES

  • Brand New Battle System
    Tired of minions fighting each other? In World of Myths, the units do not attack each other. They attack as a group and defend as a group. And to make things even more interesting - the units don't have health points.

  • Hand to Hand with the Gods
    When you build your deck you also choose a leader to guide you to victory. The leaders in World of Myths have special passive abilities and each Mythology has multiple leaders available for play. However, when in dire need the leaders can be summoned onto the battlefield and participate in battles.

  • The roads to victory
    You can win a game by either destroying all of your opponent's temples or by killing their leader.
  • Every Attack Counts
    Each temple in World of Myths gives different spoisl (rewards) if you win the attack for it which brings a whole new level of strategic decisions.

  • Where Loyalty Stands
    We believe that you should be able to play with your favorite Mythology every day without feeling bored. We reward the players who choose to stick with a Mythology and bring glory to it.
  • Faction Wars
    Dominate the World Map in a thrilling Faction Wars and prove that your Gods are the only ones that matter.
