What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have been working on Don't Look Down for more than a year. There is still significant content that we wish to add before the full release, but we are ready to share the current version for a low price so that we can attain feedback and build community interest in our game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Dont Look Down will probably be in early access from November 2018 till sometime in 2019.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In our full version, we plan to have 4 zones that each have 7 levels. Each zone will have its own unique theme and aesthetic. We plan to include new enemies, hazards, equipment, and bonus rooms as well as more multiplayer functionality such as racing your friends up the mountain. We don't want to give too much away, but it is possible that there will be an epic boss fight at the end of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Our early access will have 10 levels set in our first 2 zones. Players can climb or fling their way through levels, smashing or shooting any robots in their path. Upon a beating a level, you get to see your time on the global leaderboard and you earn in-game currency which you can use to unlock various styles and effects.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will raise the price for our full length release as there will be much more content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome all feedback on Don't Look Down. You can reach out to us on our twitter, contact our facebook page, or even directly email the developers. We also plan to make a discord channel for direct outreach and discussion once we have enough interest.”

About This Game

Smash and shoot robots, dodge spikes, and dash through hidden rooms. Can you save the world from the robot that you created?

Don't Look Down combines the immersive motion of VR climbing with engaging level design inspired by early platformers. Achieve glory by flinging your way to the top times on the online leaderboards or climb more deliberately to find hidden secrets.

Dispatchable robots become steadily more difficult as you advance. Timing challenges keep you on your toes as you dodge spikes, saws, and giant snowballs. Grab power-ups to attain armor, a jetpack, and a flame launcher. Exploration is rewarded when you find bonus rooms.

Beat levels to unlock more levels and gain in-game currency. Customize your hands, armor, burn balls, max speed effect, and portals.
