Early Access Software

Get involved with this software as it develops.

Note: This Early Access software is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to use this software in its current state, then you should wait to see if it progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want feedback for the direction we are going and want to provide the product to the people early. Since the system is already functional and has may features it's time to get feedback on them, see what's missing and make sure the product is easy to use from the start.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We are planning to release the first version within six months of starting the Early Access”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The release version will be as the Early Access version, with enhanced usability, and most likely having new features that are deemed necessary from the feedback. Most likely the biggest changes will be to the user interface and usability.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully functional and usable for daily streaming, with possible bugs and the user interface has not been finished.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Since the pricing will also be determined based on feedback from the community, the price may change when the product is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We see the community as a very important part of this process. We want to get feedback on the features and usability of the product as well as new ideas on how to use it. We want to work with the community to provide the best product for their use.”

v1.0.9 with User Interface Enhancements, Counters, Backup etc

We're pushing out a hot new version with some nice changes:

  • Counters have an UI to add and edit them. No more random names in settings, only existing counters can be used
  • Button settings have tooltips! Hover on the setting and you'll get information on what it does
  • You can back up and restore your decks in Settings, also useful for copying to another machine
  • You can export a button, including folders and multifunctions, and import them to another place, machine, wherever via context menu
  • You can select a button and embed it in a folder if you're running out of space via context menu
  • Settings are saved automatically leaving edit mode, no need for separate button press
  • You can revert changes to buttons before exiting edit mode if things went wrong

So do back up your settings from time to time to make sure you don't accidentally break anything while playing around, or if you want to copy them to another machine.

And with the export/import function you can even share your actions with friends! Made a cool multifunction and want them to have it? Just export and give it to them!

Older updates

Seems we haven't explained changes in previous versions, so let's recap:

  • Elgato Stream Deck alpha support. Enable in settings, doesn't work with confirmation requests and you must not have any other app using it at the same time
  • Timer added, you can create a timer that ticks down on the screen, for example, a Be Right Back ticker
  • Fixes for several Streamlabs OBS issues
  • Color picker shows the colors you're using already for easy matching
  • Fix for random image

We hope this update makes Stream Control even nicer to use for everyone. Let us know!
