What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Getting our start two years ago, we have developed the game to the point of near (90%) completion, eliminating all the bugs and building a fun experience, with solid FPS. There are multiple days' worth of content in the game already, but we refuse to slow down. We want to continue to improve Lumberjack Simulator for the benefit of everyone in our community, implementing additional features from our roadmap and creating the best forestry and offroad simulator possible. Although we are adding in more content over the coming months, we are ready to release the Early Access version to meet our customers' demand.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While we do not have an exact timeframe in mind, we intend to keep Lumberjack Simulator in Early Access for at least twelve months. The Lumberjack Simulator community feedback will determine the exact timeframe, and we are going to do whatever we can to make this experience persistently engaging.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Generating feedback during development, we will add in a range of maps, mods, multiplayer modes, customizations, and upgrades before we release the full version. You can read more about our specific ideas on the roadmap page”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are no major bugs in the Early Access version. You can play with a keyboard or a gamepad controller, and there are only minor inconsistencies in the gameplay, which is fully playable in single player and includes all vehicles, features, and first-person tools. You can cut any tree, you can get stuck in the mud, and there is economic system for selling logs, purchasing equipment, upgrading equipment, purchasing fuel, and setting up wood lots. As you progress through the game, you can purchase more luxurious vehicles and log more extensive areas.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have not yet determined future pricing, so there is a chance that the price will rise toward the end of the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback is everything to us! Streaming on YouTube and posting on social media are both helpful for expressing your enthusiasm for the game and showing us what we can do to improve. If you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to share them. Pick up your copy of Lumberjack Simulator and support our team today!”

About This Game

Are you ready to put your forestry and logging skills to the test? In this simulator game, you navigate an open world, the vehicles and the trees being in accordance with real-world physics. You can interact with the terrain (altering it in the process), cruise around in the off-road automobiles, and start putting some callouses on your palms by swinging around a chainsaw, an axe, and other tools.

Unlike any other simulation game, this game encourages you to master the wilderness. Each tree is like something straight out of a real-life forest, and you can cut it down however you like, paring away the branches with your hand axe and selling off the valuable logs at the local mill. How will you invest your proceeds? Machines, new land, truck upgrades: there are many options available to you. This is your business; run it how you see fit.

These badass forestry vehicles feature realistic steering, suspension, gear shifts, and transmission. For truck enthusiasts, these vehicles will be familiar – the models straight out of the logging industry. You set the controls too, changing the drive mode depending on the terrain that you need to cross. Don't get stuck!

The map is an open world, its details numerous and filled with challenges. From high slopes to varying surfaces, there is plenty to look out for, and you need to stay focused in order to deliver your logs to their final destination (and keep your truck intact).

You choose when to enter and exit your vehicles, when you use your tools, which tools to use, and how to clear and move trees. Be careful: you are going to need a plan if you want to thrive in the logging business.
