ACHIEVEMENTS Update! April 18, 2019

We're sorry it has been so long since our last update! We've been hard at work porting our games to other consoles. However, we have some exciting news we'd love to share with all our early access fans!

1. Our achievements update will be live today around 2pm CDT. This will most likely be the last early access update prior to our 1.0 release, expected for next month. Signup for our Gnome News HERE to find out about our post launch plans first!
2. As promised, Mowin’ & Throwin’ is coming to Nintendo Switch very soon! It will be available as a digital only download on the Nintendo e-shop. Stay tuned to our Mowin’ & Throwin’ Twitter page for our upcoming release date announcement.
3. If you haven't had a chance yet, come join us on Discord! We are posting early concepts of the next project and everyone is welcome to offer feedback! We'd really love to know what you think.

Achievements Update Features
We added 15 more achievements to the game for a total of 20! Good luck to all our achievement hunters!

We also updated the menus so that all players have control over the menus instead of just player 1.

Version 0.6 Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where the mower would stay in tank mode after a player jumps off it
  • Fixed some collision issues in Turf Warfare that would cause undesired mower behavior
  • Fixed a visual bug in Seas the Day 1v1 where the fence was the wrong color
  • Fixed some audio bugs related to the options menu
  • Adjusted the mower in A Lawn Way Down so it is harder to fall into the pit
  • Fixed a bug that caused the mower to launch into the air
  • Reordered the screen resolutions in the options menu so that they are in order from highest to lowest
  • Fixed a bug where the mushroom particle effect was off center on the gnome when they are riding the mower
  • Fixed a bug where throwable items would not collide with the middle fence in both versions of Jungle Rumble
  • Fixed text wrapping bugs in the pre-game instruction menus

“A crazy mow-’em-up that’s a cut above the rest!”

About This Game

Play as lawn gnomes and wreck your neighbor's yard by throwing rocks, fertilizer bags, and psychedelic mushrooms. Race around in a nitro boosted mower to pickup grass and blast unsuspecting opponents with its hidden tank cannon. Mowin' & Throwin' is great to play with friends, family, or people you only sort of like. The experience is best played locally, but is playable online through PARSEC.

Mowin’ & Throwin’ is a competitive lawn mowing experience where the objective of the game is the have the LEAST amount of grass on your lawn before time runs out. Mow down the competition in our 2v2 or 1v1 game modes. Customize your experience by choosing between two zanny gnome avatars as well as their hat. This game requires controllers, but will soon support keyboards and full keyboard / controller button remapping!

A stunning variety of items drop from the sky during the match. Use them to knock gnomes of mowers, regrow grass, or flip your opponent’s controls!

Ever wonder what it's like to drive a riding mower that's souped up with nitrous and a tank cannon!? Experience the thrill of mowing at breakneck speeds to gather grass bag ammo to shoot at your rival team's yard!

Grow closer with your friends by teaming up! Or ruin that friendship with a well aimed rock! Keep the couch fun during parties or when you need a break from the online world.

A single match only takes a few minutes, but Mowin' & Throwin' can keep you and your friends occupied for seasons.

The controls and objective of Mowin' & Throwin' are easy to learn. But if you want to be a cut above the rest, you'll need to master each lawn's unique challenge to turn them to your advantage!

Each lawn is unique and creates challenges that affect how you mow and throw. Some examples include shifting terrain, elevators, destructible environments, darkness, and more!
