Why Early Access?

“Hazardous Space is a Roguelike 2d turn-based action game with RPG elements. It’s very gameplay-centric game. So we want to make every player’s action is more clear and handy and mechanics are interesting enough. It’s impossible without involving real players.
So we invite you to join us. With real players involved in testing, we create the cooller game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We want to finish Hazardous Space to October 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Hazardous Space will include the following thing:
More ship locations - demo only has few of them. There will be more in final version of the game. They are almost done but need tweaking, balancing and testing before being included in the game.

More enemies and enemy behavior - the game has more dangerous enemies and even bosses. Expect to see a lot more dangerous foes rather just simple zombies. Not only that, each enemy comes out with different abilities and tactics, that work differently depending on enemy group itself.

More items - demo had been prepared specially with demo items to avoid “spoilers”. Full game will have a lot of different weapons, items, armor and etc. If you’re wondering - how much is there at our hands? At this very moment - 95% of all items are done.

Quest system - for now quest system is very-very basic and is still work in progress. Quests themselves aren’t necessary but if you complete some, you’ll get something good in return, including locked and very useful stuff.

Different endings - endings here not only tell you about the story but also expand the game itself, opening new items, locations, enemies and some secrets. So expect all that if full game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version of Hazardous Space is work-in-progress product. There aren’t game breaking bugs. We suggest working gameplay, key features and logical game’s plot.
It lets to get users high-quality player experience and give a recommendation.

Now in Hazardous Space there are:
- limited number of locations;
- limited number of enemies;
- basic quest system;
- limited number of items, weapons and etc.”

Huge Update v.09!

Ready for major update! Arm yourself with new elemental weapons, look for lore items that unlock access to new quests, and enjoy a much more spectacular animation. The solution to the "Wanderer" station secret is really close.

- While clicking the teleport “up-down” transitions, if there were enemies in the middle room, camera went further, the character got stuck in the room with enemies, the controls freezed.
- "Powder Fanatic" и "Lazer Fanatic" could’ve been acquired through grenades usage.
- Long transition from the intro cinematic to location creation.
- Quests malfunctioning.
- Alcohol was perceived as food.
- Incorrect enemy taking damage indication.

- The player could enter the letters in the field of the number of items when disassembling things.
- Some quests were not displayed in the log.
- Incorrectly displayed crafting result in some of the recipes.
- “Energy gun” weapon parameters were not displayed.
- Description for some items got beyond the pop-up window borders.
- Hotbar could be dragged anywhere on the screen with the mouse.
- The sound of melee weapon waving was played during the animation of the skill activation.
- If the “Shield-gunner” monster was killed while under the energy shield effect - the shield VFX remained on screen forever.
- The walk animation stopped playing for a while if you clicked on the locked (red) door and immediately moved away from it.

- The obstacles did not spawn in the Laboratory in the 2nd chapter.
- The player could use teleport and inventory after death.
- Sometimes the teleport did not relocate you up, although it showed such a possibility.
- UI settings bug.
- “Looter” perk worked while crafting.
- Perks could be swapped during walkthrough.
- Fixed some item spawns.
- The controls got stuck after opening the quest log.
- During the battle, while moving to the next opponent with a simple pistol in hand, the pistol levitated in the air separately from the character.

About This Game

A dangerous survival adventure in space station labirynths. Turn-based combat, character progression, the atmosphere of impending threat. Collect and modify weapons, stock up on ammunition and first-aid kits, use your brain and think two steps ahead. Between you and the exit from the station - a horde of enemies who know nothing about fear or mercy.

The "Wanderer" station is full of secrets for you to uncover. Perhaps, that's how we will find out what happened there and how the arrival of Max is connected with that. Or maybe not only that. The main thing to survive!

If you think that the layout of the premises in the future will cease to be the fruit of the maniacal misanthrope's sick mind - you are deeply mistaken. Max will have to wade through the mazes, crowded with traps, enemies and other surprises. A simple straight path is for wimps!

From rusty knuckles to super-mega-blaster - feel like a master gunsmith! And do not forget about your battlesuit: it makes you strong, dexterous, skillful - demanding energy instead. Lots of energy. Tons of energy!

If the enemy is unresting - provide him with the eternal rest! For this, there's a whole arsenal of various weapons at the "Wanderer" station. Grenades, machine guns, brass knuckles, pistols... Not enough? Each weapon can have an elemental damage module!

Zombies, mutants, mutant zombies, monsters from laboratories, zombie monsters from laboratories ... Max and you are not going to get bored!

Have you explored the station, remembered the compartments' layout, taken notes of the traps and stashes? Here's a new walkthrough for you! Each new attempt feels like the first time, cause the levels are generated procedurally.


It's 2115. Something terrible has happened on board the research space station Wanderer, and the former space marine Max Carnage becomes an unwilling participant in these events. To survive, he will need to remember his military past.
