Why Early Access?

“Wanted Killer VR is still in the initial stages of development, and we'll be expanding the world and adding new modes. Early Access gives us an amazing opportunity to share our progress with you, the community, and use your suggestions and reviews to increase the quality of the game. Doing it this way, we’re be able to iterate on the feedback we receive throughout development and ensure Wanted Killer VR is a game that truly integrates your ideas.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have a roadmap laid out for the Early Access period of Wanted Killer VR (see next question). While we believe that we have a fairly accurate schedule for this, we would also like to give ourselves some additional time for the implementation of your feedback and ideas. With this in mind, we aim to have a game that is shaped by both your vision and ours, with all the content planned for version 1.0 by Q4 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We’re still actively designing, brainstorming and, as mentioned above, listening and responding to what you guys are enjoying. Based on our current roadmap, which is not set in stone, you can expect the following features to be added over the course of the game’s development:
  • More single player missions in brand new settings
  • New heroes with unique abilities and weapon specialties
  • New enemy types and bosses
  • New challenges
We're also looking into adding new game modes, co-op PVE in particular.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay of Wanted Killer VR is polished and fun to play. While there are still many more features to be added (see above), the current version already includes the following:
  • Single player campaign with 28 missions
  • Hero-based abilities and weapon specialties
  • Different enemy types and bosses
  • Wave-based survival mode
  • RPG elements such as player levels and weapon upgrades
  • Tactical teleporting for strategic combat
  • Gun steal mechanic to make use of a variety of unique weapon types, spanning from tesla rifles to flamethrowers
  • Flow-based combo system with skill rating and leaderboards
  • 7 diverse settings: Subway, Skyscrapers, Genetics Lab, Nightfall, Docks, Ship, Warehouse

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“For those joining us on this Early Access ride, we truly appreciate your feedback and trust in us to deliver the best experience possible, so the current price reflects that appreciation. Upon completion of version 1.0, there will be a price increase for non-Early Access players. Having said that, we’re convinced that the game represents excellent value for money, both now and at the new price point.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As we add more content, we’ll be listening closely to your suggestions on what features, weapons or maps you’re most interested in. As stated above in detail, there’s lots of content to come and we’re excited to work together with you to make Wanted Killer VR the best game it can be!”

Update 7 Released

We're happy to announce that from now on you will be able to play Wanted Killer VR in 6 new languages! Besides English, the game's UI and subtitles are now also localized into:
  • German
  • Russian
  • French
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
Apart from that, we also did a variety of optimization and clean-up changes in Warehouse, Docks and Ship for an improved performance as well as a couple of quality-of-life improvements. As always, you can find the full list here:
  • Added localization for German, French, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese
  • Redesigned ammo power-ups - they now give you infinite ammo for a certain duration
  • Added sound and vibration to make it more obvious when guns finished reloading
  • Hand-matching improved - in-game hands now reflect real-life hands position more accurately
  • Improved AI behavior in the Spider Mom boss fight
  • Enhanced feel of melee attacks - they now cause controller vibration and no longer produce ghosts
  • Removed screen distortion effects in level intros
  • Optimized performance in Warehouse, Docks and Ship levels
  • Re-scripted the setup paths for all levels
  • Bug fixes:
    • Fixed some vibration issues on Oculus
    • Fixed level end screen (can no longer be obscured by explosions)
  • Smaller UI improvements added

Update 6 Released

We're happy to announce that there is a bunch of improvements and quality of life changes coming your way :steamhappy: Realistic rifle scopes, enhanced weapon handling, improved VFX and much more make 2-handed shooting more fun than ever!

We're a small indie developer with the ambitious goal to create a unique VR shooter that you, the community, will love as much as we do. The core of Wanted Killer VR is an innovative movement system called “Tactical Teleport”, which lets you maneuver towards a specific location in bullet-time while all enemies (and their bullets) move in slow-motion. The clue is that teleportation can only be used on enemies momentarily after killing them – this allows for coping with even the most intense situations and a beautiful mix of action and strategy, which we consider the secret sauce of Wanted Killer VR’s gunplay.

In Wanted Killer VR, you play as dual pistol expert Ricky, allrounder Mia, shotgun brawler Teo or master sharpshooter Aya. As you progress through the single player campaign, skill challenges, or wave-based survival mode, a unique brand of teleport system lets you experience player-driven bullet-time-shooting with a twist. Paired with a flow-based combo system that invites you to take out enemies in style, Wanted Killer VR allows for unparalleled strategic combat as you dash between opponents and complete diverse challenges in spectacular settings – including skyscrapers in the clouds, a mysterious genetics lab, and an ever-changing subway station.

Create your very own action sequence and chain together kills using a variety of weapon types – pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers, sniper rifles… they’re all yours! Created to offer visually stunning one-of-a-kind gunplay, you can expect innovative weapons and fluid controls when you unleash vengeance against challenging enemies in diverse and beautiful levels.


Wanted Killer VR is a frenzied first-person shooter that puts you in charge of the WK4: a trigger-happy squad of mercenaries on a mission. Choose which of the crew’s four heroes to play as, and use their teleportation powers and sharpshooting skills to fight your way through the ranks of an organization that wipes out anything – and anyone – messing with their bottom line.

  • Four heroes, four styles: Play your way with a choice of four unique heroes. Unleash dual-pistol damage as Ricky, get up-close and personal with Teo, strike as stealthy assassin Mia or cut loose with machine gun-toting Aya.
