Why Early Access?

“The main purpose of the Early Access is to build a community that plays the game and help to evolve it, and of course, to get some resources to help the development by creating new custom assets.

The Six Dragons started as a side project and evolved to a huge RPG World, at the moment the storyline is not ready, but the exploration and most mechanics are in the game.

We'll work every day improving the experience in Early Access.”

“Approximately 1 year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access is mostly roaming and leveling by, as RPGers know, grinding, side quests will eventually come to Early Access version but the Full version will also feature a Story Mode.

Arenas, Dungeons and Boss fights are already in-game, and AI of the enemies improving day-by-day.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, most mechanics are already in-game regarding the Open World mode, bugs are possible to occur.

Why the price is so low?

The Six Dragons is not ready yet, the price will increase while more features are implemented.

How many people are in the development team?

The Six Dragons is under development by a solo developer in his basement, but people around the world help for many parts of the game, e.g Music, 3D art, Sound FX, Animations, Effects etc.

How is it possible to finish the game with 1 developer?

Even though the game is already in a late stage of development, Early Access has the purpose to support the developer hire more people to work on more parts of the game and make it as good as possible. Also, the tools available right now for the developers to use are more advanced and help a lot.

Will I enjoy the game? How many hours can I play? Should I buy it?

The game right now is for those old-school grinders that like killing stuff and get experience, items, materials, and harvest while exploring all around the world, then craft a bunch of items to get stronger, adjust their builds and fight difficult bosses. If you like this kind of gameplay then you can play for 50+ hours up to 100s of hours. If you are into quest and story-lines then you have to wait for the final game when the Story Mode of the game will be implemented. That said, is planned for side procedural generated quests to be implemented before final release.

What should I expect from Early Access the following months?

For the next 6 months the plan is to work in the following:

  • the first couple of months on Early Access will be about monster AI and skill improvements/balancing.
  • Implementation of the Mercenaries System, that you can hire them for gold and use them for various jobs like harvesting for you.
  • Animations polishing.
  • Random Generated side-quests.


Events

Even though The Six Dragons is a single player game, we would like the community to engage together, so weekly/monthly events are planned, with World Bosses spawning and challenge players. These monsters will be very hard to defeat and will not be level dependent (you won't have to be max level to participate, the Bosses will spawn at your level range)


Progression

The player will have plenty of ways to progress in-game. Leveling will be achieved via monsters killing, Quests, Crafting. Equipment will be gained from Monsters and Bosses, Treasure Chests, and finally Crafting. On Early Access, leveling is achieved mostly by hunting monsters.
