What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Some of the core game mechanics for Eat All The Things have been implemented, with some stages created around them. The game is at a stage where it needs the feedback and experience from players on all aspects including the platforming gameplay, power-ups, puzzle styles, and the over-arching in-game story. We'll be actively engaging with our community to facilitate quick incorporation of all the feedback, allowing us to create the best version of our game, Eat All The Things.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate the game will be in Early Access until a late 2018 release. This gives us enough time to work with our customers and fans to implement new game mechanics and stages, whilst working on the over-arching in-game story. Content will be added throughout the course of the Early Access at no extra cost.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Players can expect the following additions throughout the Early Access period:
  • New stages
  • New puzzles
  • New power-ups
  • Stealth challenges
  • Improved co-op gameplay
  • New costumes
  • Over-arching story around Tablet from TABLET CORP.
  • Steam Achievements
  • ... and more - based on your feedback!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game supports the basic power-ups, the Watcher Surveillance System developed by TABLET CORP, and platforming elements. There is some progression through the stages with collectables and challenges, however, there is no real story-line or exploitation of the stealth game mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the final release will reflect the increase in content, therefore it is expected that it may increase from the Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are planning to involve the community through feedback requests which lead onto surveys, to identify what features are most desired. The channels of communication will be through the Steam Hub and Twitter (https://twitter.com/EatAllThe)”

Co-Op Update! (Split Screen)

Hello Everyone,

We're happy to announce that we have just pushed an Eat All The Things update to Steam! Once you update your game, you will be able to play through the game in split screen co-op! We experimented with different camera models to find a single camera approach, but in the end, the split screen approach works best!

There have also been minor fixes and some UI changes... however you may find that the introduction of the split screen camera has also introduced other bugs! Please report these on the Steam discussion forum and we will squash them asap!

Also be sure to check out our new release, Achaem!

We hope you enjoy it!

Thank you,

About This Game

You play as Bronut, a little guy who loves food so much he's dressed himself up as a donut. His love for food means he just can't help himself, whether the food belongs to him or not. You'll be aided by TABLET Corp's very own Tablet Borgias! He'll give you tips and encourage you along the way. However, he appears to be playing both sides, for his own amusement and financial gain! Tablet has been selling his TABLET Corp. Watcher Surveillance Systems to people whose food you're stealing!

Eat All The Things features Co-Op play throughout the entire game! Play together with a friend as Bronut's pal, Strawberry Short Kate.

Navigate many vibrant levels and help Bronut eat all the things! It's not all smooth eating though - beware of the watcher and the evil host! They're not really evil of course, after all it's their food... but anything that gets between Bronut and his treats is the enemy!

The watcher keeps watch on the stage with a spotlight, avoid it at all costs! Otherwise, the evil host will be alerted of your location and you will have to run and hide! Don't get caught! Be sure to make use of terrain and objects to hide from the spotlight.

As it goes, Bronut doesn't count his macros... he puts on weight with each snack, making him larger and slower. But putting on the weight can work out in your favour! You can weigh down big switches, reach higher places, resist high-speed winds, and much more! Be sure to visit your local TABLET station to "unload" when you need to!

As you progress through the game you will encounter new and interesting foods, such as colder than cold ice creams and the sweetest of sweet doughnuts. These may give you side-effects such as brain freeze (enabling you to walk on lava), and a sugar rush (increased run speed and jump height).
