Want to play USBB with your friends online? Here's five steps to do it (number 5 will surprise you)

Hello Everyone!

First of all, everyone at Mojiken Studio wants to express our deepest gratitude for all of you. It was a roller coaster ride to get to this point, but we can make it because of your support. So once again, thank you.

We also want to talk about something that has been requested by many of the gamers that have given USBB a try, and that thing is online multiplayer.

We always hoped to bring online multiplayer mode to USBB. Since our initial prototype, we think that this kind of fighting/competitive game has to have an online mode where you can invite your friends to play even when you're alone at home. But sadly, some limitations from the technical standpoint, resources, and time made that a bit too hard to pull while maintaining our sanity.

Luckily for PC and Mac user, there's a workaround to enjoy USBB with your friends online, thanks to the wonderful technology called Parsec!
Parsec lets you stream a game, and have friends watch and play along with their controllers. It's quick and easy to set up, and it's also free if you host the game from your computer.

How to play:
  1. Download the client from http://parsecgaming.com
  2. Run the application and create an account. Get your friends to do the same
  3. If you want to host, click "Add A Computer." In the setting, you can set what apps your friends can see/control too
  4. To join a friend, add them using their Parsec username and request to Co-Play
  5. Run the game, and you can play with your friends online like they're sitting next to you!

If you have any issues with Parsec, chat them on their discord channel here.

Lastly, we hope you enjoy the game and keep supporting us. Join our discord channel to say hi and maybe find friends to play USBB together.

Thank you so much! You folks are awesome!

Reviews

“Not only is it a fun concept, but it’s one that’s a competitive blast with three friends or family members in the versus mode. The production values only reinforce this, with awesome neon-pixel artwork that comes to life when characters perform their ultras and a catchy soundtrack and SFX...”
7/10 – Nintendo Life

“A very fun party game with a great aesthetic that marries classic fighting games with Pong that anyone can get into.”
7/10 – IGN South East Asia

“Ultra Space Battle Brawl is exactly what it says it is: an intergalactic Pong game on steroids. Hell, throw in a little Street Fighter II there for good measure. There’s an incredibly charming neon polish in every corner of this title, and the tense sports action is satisfying to say the least. If you’re looking for this generation’s Wind Jammers, Ultra Space Battle Brawl can’t be missed.”
9/10 – Pure Nintendo
