Why Early Access?

“We want to get feedback from other players on the current state of the game first before we add new features to the game. The community is invited to provide and share feedback to help further progress in the development. We would like to point out that current features and functions still contain bugs which can crash the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to leave alpha phase and go to the beta phase in about a year once most of the planned features are implemented. In the beta phase it is likely that a lot of polishing and balancing is necessary is required for the final version and we plan another year for that phase.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version will include most, if not all, currently planned features. We aim to provide an enjoyable and stable version for our community. Our next main goals are a full character creation system with character shape customization, a lot more different humanoids to choose from, a riding system with fly mounts and an easy to use fast travel system. You can find the full list of planned features down below.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently in the alpha phase and not all features are implemented yet. Our main features are a quest system together with dynamically generated villages, the Steam workshop support with prefabs where players can create and share their creations with the world, a skill and clothing system where every player can progress together with his very own character, 25 realistic biomes full of adventures to explore and pieces of furniture to decorate your houses. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the current price as long as we in the alpha phase. With the start of the beta phase we will likely increase the price in smaller steps as we ship more content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will consider community feedback and critics as long as it fits within our game design and planned future features. The community can contact us via the Steam store page.”

qb is an open world sandbox adventure game (ALPHA STATE), where you can create and explore nearly infinite worlds. Solve challenging quests together with your friends and earn unique rewards. Collect precious raw goods and craft useful items. Enchant your gear to make it even stronger. Enhance your character and learn specialized abilities. Help the villagers and grow their homeland. Find hidden treasures and reveal their secrets.

About us

We are a team of three developers and work on qb in our freetime. It was only a small project at first which was meant for trying out new things. But once more and more features were added we decided to share qb with other players. In the current state of the game not all features are implemented and before we add more features it is better to get feedback from other players first. We would like to point out that current features and functions still contain bugs which can crash the game. With the start of the Early Access phase we might be able to employ more people to help and support us working on the game.
