Miksi Early Access?

We want the players to enjoy Biotope as early as possible and therefore decided to go Early Access.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The Early Access phase will be at least half, but no longer than a year, to get more content ready and polish what is already implemented.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The release version will be more polished and existing features will have more options, e.g. more chemical and biological stats have to be managed. However, the addition of features and content will not stop with the release version. We are planning for a long product life cycle and many free updates, as well as content for Biotope.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version is playable with most of its core features in place. Some features lack depth which will be added during the Early Access.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Possibly. We evaluate the pricing regularly, as the game gains features, expands in scope and moves closer to the final release. However, everyone who joins us during Early Access will absolutely have access to the full version of the game, no matter how large it grows!

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

Biotope was planned to be a pleasant and relaxing experience, so we hope to get valuable feedback from the community. This might change smaller details in user experience or even add additional content to our ever-growing roadmap.
