Tvori Update—360 Camera & Photos

With this update, we focused on improving 360 output. We added a new 360 camera to Shelf that allows making 360 photos and videos. It's now more convenient to make 360 videos and possible to view 360 photos on scenes.

All the improvements and fixes:
— Camera. Made it possible to capture 360 photos
— Saving state of play targets (mode, UI)
— 360 Photos. Injects Metadata (using ExifTool) so the photo is getting recognized as panoramic 360 by viewers and websites such as Facebook
— 360 Photos. Visualizes 360 photos on scenes. See details in the note
— Possible to switch from a regular to 360 camera through a tab on Timeline
— Improved the precision of Locker
— Fixed the problem when it was possible to unlink/re-link some body parts of the body even if the puppet was locked
— Fixed random exceptions when colorizing objects
— Switches off LODs on Shelf
— Fixed the problem when projects were created with "low" quality settings
— Fixed detection of some models as form Poly, that wasn't from Poly
— Made it possible to save the One Hand Rotation mode to the settings when you switch to that mode in VR
— Made it possible to rename scenes
— Improved the layout of Menu

About This Software

Tvori is a VR storytelling and animation tool focused on making content creation in VR accessible, so you can test your ideas, create scenes, animate, and make characters come alive all within VR using straightforward, intuitively designed tools. Prior knowledge of 3D content creation is not required to get started creating in Tvori, and it’s easy to learn as you go! You can use Tvori to complete animated stories or use it as a tool for fast story prototyping, creation of animatics or movie previsualization.

Tvori has a library of simple shapes, props, and effects to use in your creations. Also, to speed up animation and the art creation process, we support import of objects, images and sounds.
If you’re a storyteller and just want to experiment with VR without the steep learning curve of complicated 3D software, a real-time animation mode is available. If you are a professional animator or a technical artist and want to have a full control over your animation, you can select a keyframe animation mode.

Tvori supports Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows MR.

Build a scene like this using simple shapes from the library and several brush strokes:

The house was made out of a bunch of stretched and colored cubes. The scene is based on Mustafa Gundam's illustration.

Create characters:

Based on Natasha Floksy's illustration.

Make scenes of different styles using primitives along with props from the library:

The top left scene is based on Quan Pham Tung's illustration.

Draw in 3D with virtual markers, brushes, and pencils:
