About This Game

Imperium of the Stars is a single-player Gothic real-time 4X grand strategy game. Build an empire, govern its worlds, and command its fleets.

After three centuries of isolation, scattered civilizations reach for the stars again. Distant beacons burn above lost colonies. Choose one of four distinct factions and decide how your realm will endure.

• Four playable factions: Distinct economies, technologies, and institutions shape how you rule.

• Choose your galaxy: Generate 1,000 to 10,000 star systems with configurable shape and density.

Enter the galaxy for the first time as a crystalline Host. Consume biomass, choose permanent Adaptations, and prepare the Awakening.

Petitions and dilemmas come before the Throne. Your choices shift loyalties and shape later events. During a supply collapse, open the stores and restore food production before hardship becomes unrest.

Living Sagas follow your reign. The Reclamation charts the Imperium's return to the lost stars, shaped by the realm you build and the oaths you keep.

Deploy fleets across dozens of ship classes. Follow 2D engagements and land regiments for sieges where terrain and morale matter.
