Memory Ember is a cinematic interactive narrative game.

Play as a Memory Investigator and enter the minds of others to investigate cases involving implanted experiences, memory tampering, and identity corruption. Search for clues, uncover hidden truths, navigate complex relationships, and make choices that shape the course of the story.

Every decision you make has the power to change someone's past, present, and future.

When Experience Becomes a Commodity

By 2035, AI has mastered nearly every field of human knowledge.

Skills that once required years of study and experience can now be generated, learned, and applied almost instantly.

But humanity has lost more than jobs.

It has lost the opportunity to gain experience through work, failure, love, hardship, and personal growth.

Memory Investigation

As a Memory Investigator, you will take on a series of unusual cases connected to XPac technology.

Enter fragmented mindscapes and uncover the details hidden within corrupted memories:

• Search environments for clues

• Restore altered memory fragments

• Compare conflicting testimonies

• Decide whether the truth should be revealed

But memories are more than data.

Restoring a forgotten past may save someone's life.

Or make it impossible for them to return to the person they once were.

Choices, Relationships, and Multiple Endings

Memory Ember focuses on character relationships, investigations, and branching narratives.

Your decisions will influence:

• How characters perceive and trust you

• The outcome of investigations

• Unlockable dialogue and action options

• The ending you ultimately reach

There are no perfect answers.

You may choose to pursue the whole truth, or protect someone from it.

You may borrow the experiences of others to solve problems, only to find yourself slowly losing sight of who you were in the first place.

Inherit Experience Personas

Through XPac, you can inherit different Experience Personas, gaining new abilities and perspectives.

Each Persona can influence the way you investigate, communicate, and make decisions, including:

• A hacker's infiltration skills

• A negotiator's communication expertise

• A veteran fighter's instinct for danger

• An empath's ability to sense the emotions of others

These abilities can help you uncover hidden clues, unlock new dialogue paths, and resolve conflicts in different ways.

But every life you inherit leaves a mark behind.

The experiences you choose to carry will ultimately shape the person you become.
