Your quest is a battle of attrition. Manage your HP, MP, and HUNGER as you chart a path through each chapter of the story. Encounter monsters, random events, treasure, and sometimes blissful nothing! The more battles you win, the more XP you gain, but face too many enemies and you may find yourself too weak for the BOSS. Spend your GOLD wisely, and don't forget to use those ITEMS!

Every point of damage matters in this simple, yet deep combat system. Plan your turns out carefully and CHECK the enemy's capabilities, or you may meet a swift end.
