Lassen's Loop is a cozy throwback studio for anyone who's ever wanted to make a song. No music theory or DAW knowledge required. Just you, a deck of 8-second music cards, and one question: what can you create?

Get a feel for Lassen's Loop in this exclusive Steam demo! Download it, create an in-game account, and start building with a starter deck of cards. All your progress saves with the account, so when you grab the full game, you'll have instant access to all of your existing tracks.

Please note a few features are reserved for the full version, including exporting tracks as MP3s, earning or buying in-game currency, and spending currency on new card packs and items in the shop.

How It Works

Each of the game's 3,500+ cards is an 8-second loop composed by real, credited musicians. The card library features dozens of different genres to mix and match, including K-pop, trance, hip-hop, metal, slow jazz, reggae, and more.

Drag and drop cards onto the timeline, rearrange, layer, and remix until you've built a full track. When you're done, export your song as an MP3 and it's yours to keep and own, forever!

Community Creations

Daily and weekly challenges introduce new prompts for you to riff on, from playful vibes to specific moods and concepts like Boss Battle or Beat Box. 

Listen to what others are making, vote on your favorites, and earn in-game currency to spend on new card packs, themes, and visualizers to further hone your signature sound.

Connect with your friends in-game, or join the community on Discord for challenge suggestions, feedback, and a look at what's coming next. 

Make It Your Own

Choose from a selection of interface themes to make the studio vibe however you want. Listen along to your creations with Y2K-style visualizers like Interplanetary, Nature, or Liquidity playing in the background. 

Layer visual FX overlays (Kaleidoscope, Color Cycle, Pixelate, and more), randomize them, or save your favorite visualizer combinations for a playback experience that fits your song.

The Steam edition includes access to the full launch library of 3,500+ cards, themes, and visualizers, with new content packs added every month. Compose tracks at your own pace in single-player Sandbox mode, or jump into online challenges and community voting to show off your musical chops.
