You wake up. Morning. St. Petersburg, 19th century. And you're about to meet someone who looks exactly like you. Lives like you. Speaks like you. Stealing your life.

What is real? Who is authentic? And can you defeat someone who knows your every move and weakness?

A UNIQUE CARD SYSTEM

Every confrontation with your Double is a game of 21, but with fate's modifiers. Every choice changes the story. Every card is a step toward victory - or toward madness.

CHAPTER ONE

30-70 minutes of intense psychological horror. Players will replay for different cards. For different paths. For the truth. Finding objects, clues, and meaning. Solving puzzles. And of course, card games - St. Petersburg's greatest pastime.

WHAT'S NEXT

Four chapters total. Each progressively deeper and darker, expanding the card system's complexity. A unified save system across all episodes. Plans for an extended roguelike mode.

INSPIRATION

Based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's novella The Double (1846). This is not a retelling of the classic - it's a modern exploration of timeless themes: identity, madness, fear of oneself.
