What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Universe Explore is a large-scale idle strategy game that spans resource automation, machine construction, interstellar fleets, and exploration across many star systems. Because of this broad scope, Early Access gives us the opportunity to refine core systems — including resource balance, combat pacing, and late-game exploration flow — based on real player feedback.

The current version already includes complete progression through the Solar System and early interstellar travel, along with the full set of core mechanics. During Early Access, we plan to continue improving balance, tuning late-game systems, and exploring additional content expansions in response to how players engage with the game. Our goal is to ensure every major system — from research and radar expansion to fleet combat — feels smooth, rewarding, and well-paced.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“2 to 3 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While the Early Access version already offers a complete gameplay loop — including resource automation, machine construction, technology research, fleet battles, artifact mechanics, and exploration across dozens of star systems — the full version is planned to further expand on these foundations.

We are exploring additions such as more explorable regions beyond the currently available star systems, new types of advanced machines and technologies, and further depth in artifact and fleet progression. We also aim to refine late-game pacing and consider broader end-game challenges based on how players interact with existing systems during Early Access.

These plans are flexible and will evolve depending on development progress and player feedback, with the focus on enhancing variety, long-term goals, and overall strategic depth.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the full gameplay loop described in the About This section: resource gathering, machine construction, technology research, fleet management, and long-term progression. Players can explore the entire Solar System and more than thirty additional star systems, each offering new resources, advanced machines, and unique technological upgrades.

Eight fully functional artifacts with major combat effects are implemented, along with interstellar fleet battles, rift challenges, and a daily-reset random instance that grants over twenty types of permanent upgrades to production, combat, and storage.

All core systems—automation, late-game production chains, interstellar travel, and artifact mechanics—are playable and stable. For mid-core players (3–4 hours a day), the current content provides around one to two months of meaningful progression.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will remain unchanged.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A community of about 500 players has already been established on WeChat, where we actively gather feedback and suggestions from players.”

About This Game

Universe Explore is a text-based space idle game that blends incremental progression with strategic depth. Starting from the Solar System, players gather resources, build machines, research technologies, and gradually expand their territory—advancing from humble extraction to large-scale interstellar warfare.

The early content draws inspiration from Sparticle999’s classic Space Company, but has been fully rebuilt and redesigned. The mobile interface is optimised for smaller screens and touch input, delivering a smooth and intuitive experience. Beyond its familiar beginnings, the game expands massively in the mid- and late-game—introducing advanced machines, interstellar fleets, artifact systems, and long-term progression mechanics that carry your journey from the Solar System to the far stars.

Key Features:

  • A complete tech tree spanning from primitive gathering to advanced production.

  • Customisable fleet system with flexible tactical compositions.

  • Powerful artifacts and cosmic wonders blending strategy and exploration.

  • Carefully designed mobile UI with touch-optimised controls.

  • Deep automation and long-term growth systems supporting endless expansion into the cosmos.
