What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're releasing the game in Early Access because we want to build the rest of it alongside the community. We have a solid roadmap internally, but we know your feedback, ideas, and energy can help shape the game into something even more fun, more polished, and truly special.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate about a year in Early Access, though that may change based on community feedback. Our goal is to make sure the 1.0 release feels complete, polished, and becomes the best version of the game it can be.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game during Early Access with new areas to explore, deeper progression systems, and more ways to interact with the world.
Our goal is to add more furniture, items, and cosmetics over time, and to shape future content based on feedback from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version features a fully playable core loop, including two distinct dungeon areas to explore. Players can customize their outfits, use a variety of items on their runs, and collect furniture and trophies to decorate their hideout and boost their stats.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase slightly when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re committed to developing the game alongside our community throughout Early Access. Players’ feedback, ideas, and suggestions will play a big role in shaping new content, improving systems, and polishing the overall experience. We’ll actively listen through forums, social media, and direct conversations to ensure the game grows in a way that feels fun, balanced, and rewarding for everyone. ”

About This Game

Steal from the Dead. Pay the Living

Begraved is a first-person co-op dungeon crawler set in the decaying land of Goria where death collects its dues, and survival is a borrowed grace.

You are one of the Gravebound, condemned to loot cursed tombs around the city, driven by a corrupt balance of ruin and despair. Beneath the ground you delve, where forgotten snares await the unwary, whispers coil in the dark, and curses rest silent within relics long undisturbed. Your light is limited, your pack is small, and the Taxman will come whether you live or die.

Scavenge what you can, make it out alive, and pay your dues. Or face the rope, unpaid and unburied.

Loot Fast. Escape Alive

  • First-person dungeon crawling for 1 to 5 players

  • Procedurally generated tombs filled with hazards, secrets, and things best left undisturbed

  • Choose your tools such as torches, mallets, or gear with unusual traits

  • Limited inventory space forces tough choices between loot and survival

  • Solo play or co-op. Together or alone, the crypts’ horrors do not relent

  • Proximity voice chat intensifies cooperation, fear, and betrayal

Every expedition is a risk. Every step deeper is a gamble.

Death Collects Its Cut

The land of Goria does not care how you get rich only that you pay what you owe.

Return from a run and sell your findings to the Shopkeeper, a masked merchant who provides tools, gear, and quiet support. But every few days, the Taxman arrives, and he does not negotiate... or maybe he does? Fail to pay and your sentence ends at the gallows.

Decorate Your Hideout

Your hideout starts small and empty, a quiet space beneath the city waiting to be shaped. Bring back rugs, banners, beds, chairs, and other treasures from the tombs to decorate and make it your own.

Find pets to keep you company as you rest and prepare for your next run. Each item adds a touch of comfort and life to this fragile sanctuary in the darkness.
