What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re releasing Arena of Death in Early Access to gather valuable player feedback on combat balance, arena design, weapon variety, and overall gameplay feel. This feedback will help us refine the experience and add new features based on real player input. Your involvement will directly shape how Arena of Death evolves toward full release.

Arena of Death is a fast-paced sci-fi arena shooter built in Unreal Engine 5, where players fight in compact, high-intensity matches (i.e. arenas) using a variety of weapons and abilities.

Current features include:
- Arena battles against AI opponents.
- Local multiplayer for up to 2 players — Player 1 (keyboard + mouse) and Player 2 (gamepad) — playable in co-op or versus modes.
- Multiple weapon types: pistol, rifle, shotgun, drone, grenade, and landmine.
- Experience system – earn XP from matches to improve movement speed, accuracy, and other combat attributes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Arena of Death to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–18 months, depending on community feedback and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend to add more arenas, refine AI behavior, introduce new weapons, make visual improvements, and add interactive arena elements such as jump pads and other dynamic items as development progresses during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable in single or local multiplayer and split-screen modes with one arena, working combat systems, and core gameplay loops. Some content, effects, and balancing are still being improved.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price after Early Access, once major new content and improvements have been added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome player feedback and bug reports through our Steam Community Hub page.”

About This Game

A fast-paced arena shooter (third/first-person mix) for one/two players (local multiplayer). Takes place in an arena with a shrinking zone. Players use weapons (pistol, rifle, drone, landmine, grenade, etc.) to earn points, score kills, improve experience and dominate the arena.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Arena of Death uses AI tools only during development for creative asset generation — such as producing concept art, logos, and voice prototypes.

No AI systems are used during gameplay, and the game itself does not include AI-driven player behavior, decision-making, or content generation.

All final in-game assets are curated, edited, and approved by the development team to ensure originality and quality.
