"Danmo Three Kingdoms: Battle of Wits" is a sandbox tactical chess game that extends the gameplay ideas of traditional chess, set against the backdrop of the Three Kingdoms. It focuses on light strategy and is extremely easy to play! This Demo version is expected to open the story mode (prologue to Chapter One) and the content of over 36 generals. This Demo version will open all the battle contents from the prologue to the first chapter.

The game uses a traditional chess-like system of commander countering as the foundation for turn-based battles. Victory is achieved through asset accumulation and territory conquest as the core winning conditions. Within a limited number of turns, players take a global perspective, form alliances and rivalries, capture cities step by step, and lead their commanders to work together to seize key strategic locations.

This Demo version is expected to offer over 36 generals for players to combine and use.

In the full version of the game, over 200 historical generals from the Three Kingdoms are expected to appear. Each character will have unique combat strength, skills, and special tactics. You can freely assemble your own team of Three Kingdoms warriors within a limited point allocation, whether forging powerful alliances or gathering rivals.

You will meet legendary heroes like Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Ce. You can follow the historical timeline to relive the hardships of the Three Kingdoms era, or take a different path, using strategy to alter the course of the Three Kingdoms and write your own epic in this turbulent age.

This Demo version does not offer online mode content for the time being, but you can experience related operation and gameplay such as alliances in the mode.

We are a domestic independent development team passionate about history and strategy games. During the development process, when it came to defining the art style alone, we went through no fewer than 5 iterations, revising and refining repeatedly. In the end, we chose a version that aligns with the game’s style and characteristics—one that is more enduring, aesthetically pleasing, and embodies the essence of Chinese ink wash painting.

We believe that the characters, which we have carefully selected and polished with dedication, will surely be loved by all of you!
