About This Game

Mariposa is a 2D puzzle-platformer game that splits you between two worlds—a vibrant past where human society has seemingly progressed beyond the bounds of imagination, having harnessed technology to craft a shining utopia, and the other, a distant future where paradise has crumbled into an abandoned ruin, a wasteland haunted by humanity’s hubris. Follow Mariposa, a young automatonsmith who spends her days picking up various gigs after her shift at the antique store, enthralled with the bright, up-and-coming city. Cheerful, empathetic, and friendly, she’s always here to lend a helping hand! Her latest project? An antique radio that holds more than meets the eye.

When her voice echoes into the weave of time, suddenly this relic of a bygone era bridges the gap between impossibilities, threading a single line of communication from blinding elysium into something much bleaker. Let the everyday become catastrophic and the mundane become life-saving—let the simple flutter of butterfly wings change the winds of fate, forevermore.
