Work with your allies to solve the mysteries of a world buried in snow and carve out a path to the future.

- This is an exploration RPG where you wander through a world stained white, covered in silver.

- You can use the worldview and other elements of the game to get a sense of the atmosphere.

- This world is rife with threats. Choose a skill configuration from your "hand" of cards to combat and overcome them while dividing up roles with your allies.

- There's plenty of free exploration, and few forced story events that will stop you in your tracks. Wander the world driven by curiosity, and one day witness the world's demise.

A battle system that makes every move count, designed with the exchange of lives in mind.

Continuing from the series' tense battle systems, such as the Preemptive Strike System, which lets you choose the start of battle with your equipment; the Action Prediction System, which lets you plan your strategy based on enemy action icons; and the Spirit System, which lets you nullify an enemy's defenses by depleting their Spirit, allowing you to land a powerful blow, the new Action Order System has been introduced. Commands entered are instantly reflected in battle, and coordination with allies is crucial for timing status effects and utilizing skills to specifically target status effects. Skilled players can overcome tough battles even at a low level.

Remnants of memories left behind in the world.

Among the strange beings wandering this world are powerful foes with names and memories known as "Named." Defeating them and freeing their imprisoned souls will allow you to collect Soul Memories.
