What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because Get Mazed is a multiplayer game that lives and grows with its community. The core gameplay is already fun and functional, but balancing, adding new objectives, and improving procedural generation require player feedback. By involving the community early, we can fine-tune difficulty, optimize mazes, and add features that truly match players’ expectations.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Get Mazed to remain in Early Access for about 6 to 12 months. This period will allow us to improve core systems, add more content (biomes, monsters, puzzles), and ensure solid stability in multiplayer. The timeline may evolve depending on community feedback and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core features currently available in the game (survivors versus monsters in procedural mazes).

During Early Access, we plan to explore additional content, improvements, and adjustments, depending on community feedback and development progress.

We are considering adding or expanding areas such as:

New biomes with their own themes and puzzles.
A wider variety of playable monsters with unique abilities.
Additional team mechanics and match objectives.
A more developed progression system (skins, avatars, visual effects).
Ongoing optimization and visual/audio improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Get Mazed already offers a playable and complete loop:

A main mode with 1 monster against up to 4 survivors in a team.
Procedural maze generation to ensure every match feels different.
A first playable monster with specific abilities.
A basic progression system and end-of-match statistics.

The game is stable and fully playable in its current state, but content is still limited: only one monster, few objective variations, and a reduced group size. Early Access will progressively expand the possibilities with more biomes, monsters, and team mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Get Mazed will be priced lower during Early Access to thank early supporters. As more content is added and the game gets closer to its final release, the price may increase to reflect the added value.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is at the heart of Get Mazed’s development. We plan to:

Use Steam forums and Discord for feedback and bug reports.
Release regular updates with patch notes highlighting community-inspired additions.
Gather feedback on balancing, monsters, and maze generation.
Share roadmaps and dev logs to show how player input directly shapes the game’s evolution.

Our goal is for players to feel that Get Mazed is being built with them and for them.”

About This Game

Welcome to GET MAZED!

A maze that changes every game. Players trapped together.

Only one way out: find the exit before time runs out!

GET MAZED is a top-down multiplayer party game for 2 to 5 players.

In each game, one player becomes the Opponent. The others are the Survivors.

Their goal: escape the maze before the timer runs out.
Cooperate to solve puzzles, gear up, and find your way to the exit.

The Opponent, on the other hand, relentlessly hunts the Survivors to stop them from completing the maze.
Roles change every round, but the tension never fades.

Every match is a short adventure — unpredictable, sometimes chaotic, but always fun.

Play as the Opponent

Change your perspective and become the Hunter. Your mission: stop the Survivors from escaping by any means necessary. To do so, you have a major tactical advantage:

  • A unique arsenal: Use weapons and tools designed to trap, slow down, and capture your prey. Control the map and block their exits.

  • Passive abilities: Gain several powers that enhance your hunt, improve your awareness, or let you ambush Survivors where they least expect it. The maze is your domain. Make it their tomb.

The Maze

Dive into a labyrinth inspired by ancient dungeons: stone walls, flickering lights, and a dark, mysterious atmosphere.

The maze is procedurally generated every game — no two paths are ever the same.

To progress, players must solve puzzles, activate levers, or find keys to unlock the way forward.

The final area is guarded by the Maze Guardian, a powerful foe the Survivors must defeat if they hope to escape.

A simple and intense experience

  • Fast and dynamic matches.

  • A different maze every game.

  • Up to 5 players per match (1 Opponent, up to 4 Survivors).

  • Power-ups that can turn the tide.

  • Varied combat and weapons.

  • Quick, fun sessions — perfect with friends.

Enter the maze. Your fight for survival begins now.
