🎶 Etude is a competitive multiplayer music improvisation game where players use MIDI instruments to perform together in real time. Think music as an e-sport.

Up to 6 players join a shared session where every note played contributes the Band Consensus. Each played or released note is a vote that shapes the consensus of allowed roots and scales - a breathing musical space of optionality. Stay within the consensus and others hear your notes; break it, and your notes won’t be heard.

🕹️ Free Mode

• Play without restrictions with your friends. Free Mode removes timers, scoring, and penalties - leaving only the shared harmonic space, ideal for relaxed jamming, practicing, testing ideas, or introducing new players at your own pace.

🎯 Practice Mode

•  Click the grid to pick a Scale+Key (or a Harmony Type) → the graph auto-fills with all matching chords/arpeggios/scales.

• 🔗 Draw a path between nodes to build a drill;  (set pattern, one/both hands, start octave & span per step) then 💾 save practice.

•  Play the chain on your MIDI controller—fast setup, easy customization.
