Have armless horned monsters come in green, blue, brown, and purple to make each battle feel like your heroes are facing a new group of enemies, or give the creatures with yellow lightning bolts on their bellies purple, black, red, or white body colors to warn your players about how strong they are. Use the glowing green versions to act as rare high level enemies, or give your heroes a special skill that lets them charm an enemy and use the special version so that your players can easily tell which enemy is on their side with a quick glance.
