Miksi Early Access?

We chose Early Access to establish a close communication channel with our players. By gathering real feedback, we can quickly iterate and improve gameplay, art quality, and the overall experience. This ensures that the full release reaches a high level of polish, rather than being launched all at once without community input.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We expect the Early Access phase to last around 8–12 months. The timeline may be adjusted based on community feedback and development progress, but our goal is to deliver a solid and expanded version within a year.

The full release will feature significantly more content. Compared to the Early Access version, the full game is planned to be roughly 10 times larger in scale, with additional gameplay systems, expanded story and world-building, as well as a large amount of new art, music, and sound assets.

The game is still in its internal development and testing stage. Core systems are being refined, art and audio quality are being upgraded, and we are actively optimizing gameplay content to ensure that Early Access players can already experience a complete and coherent game framework.

We plan to keep pricing relatively stable throughout Early Access. Once the full version is released, there may be a price adjustment of up to around 30%, reflecting the significant increase in content and quality.

Regularly publish development logs to keep players updated on progress.
Engage in discussions about upcoming features to refine design directions with player input.

The Final Moment nears. Midgard, a land of war and faith, is a chessboard for gods—their will seeps everywhere, with chaos, war, bloodshed and death raging across kingdoms. You hear the call, cross the Misty Sea to keep the ancient covenant: retrieve the gods’ stolen fire, and find your answer in this land where good and evil blur.

⚔️ Core Gameplay

🔹 Open-World Exploration — Beneath the ruins lie forgotten histories.

Traverse the four realms of the Kingdom of Serotania, and explore relics, dark forests, and sealed ancient roads—each holds hidden secrets. Talk, investigate, and track; piece together fragmented histories and uncover the truth behind the upheavals of all kingdoms.

🔹 Economic System — Choose your way to survive

Complete commissions: Accept quests at the town steward's office and mercenary guild, but be cautious—quests from the steward's office often come with danger. Alternatively, venture into ancient relics and forbidden lands to collect precious items, then sell them to merchants everywhere. This not only fills your pockets generously but also boosts your reputation.

🔹 Character Growth — Your skills determine your life or death.

There is no level system; your strength depends on mastering weapons and skills, and your growth is determined by your choices. With three categories of weapons and seven skill systems, seek out renowned masters everywhere to learn unique techniques and become a true tactical master.

🔹 Tactical Turn-Based Combat — Formulate your strategy before sanity crumbles.

Diverse Enemies: Dark creatures, cultists, exotic beasts, and the undead—each requires a unique strategy to counter.
Tactical Choices: Carry specific items to avoid danger, or use skills to interrupt the enemy directly? A single move of yours decides life or death.

Hi, I’m the developer of Otherworld Chronicles — a stubborn, passionate idealist. At 20, I chose to devote my life to making 37 games. Perseverance, I believe, frees me from mediocrity.
