The Space Engineers 2 Pioneer Edition DLC is an extension package to the Space Engineers 2 game. 

It is a special package for early explorers, featuring a breathtaking soundtrack, exclusive content, and the chance to directly support the game’s development.

Dive into the world of Space Engineers 2 at its earliest stage, with thrilling updates on the way, and enjoy the official soundtrack, a creative vault filled with concept art sketches, behind-the-scenes materials from the developers, and stunning exclusive wallpapers.

Vertical Slice 2 brings a substantial content upgrade to the Pioneer Edition, expanding the artbook with new tools, construction stages, components, suits, and character designs that further define visual direction of Space Engineers 2.

A major highlight is the introduction of planetary content: with VS2 enabling in-game planetary exploration, the Pioneer Edition now includes newly added sections dedicated to worlds like Verdure and Kemik. These pages showcase updated biomes, foliage systems, planetary lighting, terrain details, and environmental diversity shaping SE2’s next-generation planets.

We’ve also enriched the engineering experience with redesigned tools, decorative blocks, propulsion upgrades, and improved welding equipment. Altogether, these additions make the Pioneer Edition a richer, more complete window into the evolving universe of Space Engineers 2 — from characters and tools all the way to living, breathing planets.
