Why Early Access?

“As with all our previous independent titles, we believe the input of our community is invaluable in shaping our final product.

While Playtest provides some semblance of that, we’ve always found Early Access to be far more robust in terms of the feedback it generates. After all, once someone pays for your game, they both expect and deserve for it to be at its best – and that kind of pressure makes us work at our best too.

And then, of course, there’s the purely practical side – Early Access will provide us with the resources to continue development and, hopefully, to grow it further.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re planning for a period of around six months to a year. Of course, nothing is ever certain, but this timeline has worked well for our past titles, so we hope to stay within that estimate.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The biggest new feature planned during Early Access will be a two-player co-op mode. We will also continue adding new content, including additional story arcs and more ways to complete the game.

Steam achievements will be implemented, along with roguelike progression bonuses to improve long-term replayability.

These are just some of the planned additions – others will emerge directly from player feedback as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and feature complete, albeit not all the features we eventually hope to have are in yet.

All races and classes are available, and there are hours of content to enjoy – from exploration and story events to battles and base building.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may increase the final price slightly after Early Access, but we haven’t made a final decision on that yet.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an in-game bug report function that’s reviewed daily. We’ll also remain active here on Steam and on our Discord channel, where our community is lively and the devs hang out regularly — so you can leave feedback or just chat with us directly.

We take all feedback seriously and do our best to weigh it against our design goals and capabilities, implementing changes and new ideas whenever possible.”

A dark turn-based strategy-survival RPG blending retro-futuristic urban fantasy with Slavic folklore. Customise your characters’ gender, class, and race, and recruit NPC allies to explore the wastelands, rebuild your colony, and engage in tactical card-based combat. Featuring branching narratives and character progression, where every choice shapes your survival and the fate of humanity in this story-rich roguelite adventure.

  • Survive and Explore a Story-Rich Post-Apocalytic World. Uncover the secrets of Thea through rich storytelling, engaging quests, and diverse points of interest. Scavenge vital resources and face environmental challenges as you navigate a retro-futuristic wasteland shaped by Slavic folklore and mystical ruins.

  • Develop Your Hero and Party. Lead as your main hero while assembling a diverse party of NPC allies, each with unique abilities and personalities. Build and customize your team through deck-building mechanics and character progression, tailoring strategies to overcome the wasteland’s many threats.
