The Munch Soundtrack takes you on a tour through the evolution of the Heavy Metal music. From Black Sabbath, Rammstein, to Judas Priest and Mayhem each track represents a different breed of metal. 

As with every monster in the game, each song was hand crafted to fit with the genre it represents and an iconic band from that genre. They were custom-made for each monster by the brilliant metal guitarist and instrumentalist, Clifford Meyer, formerly of the bands Isis, Red Sparowes, and Palms. 

Here are the tracks you can expect in this Ode to Metal soundtrack, and the inspiration behind each of them:

• Nekory,'s theme: First wave of Black metal based on Bathory.

• Krakenstein's theme: Industrial metal based on Rammstein.

• Winterfrost's theme: Black metal based on Darkthrone.

• Morbideath's theme: Death metal based on Death.

• Painkiller's theme: New wave of British metal based on Judas Priest.

• Canopyus's theme: Norwegian black metal based on Mayhem.

• Steelforge's theme: Power metal based on Manowar.

• Gutpuncher's theme: Groove metal based on Pantera.

• Lady Nosfetaria's theme: Symphonic black metal based on Cradle of Filth.

• Bonus track - Skyrider's theme: New wave of British metal based on Iron Maiden.

• Öre's boss fight music: Just pure metal!

• Ne+Kro's boss fight music: More pure metal!

• Flaesh's boss fight music: Additional metal!
