Overview

Ascendance Fighters is an indie platform fighter set in a distant future in which the government has implanted cybernetic chips into a select group in the military, giving them superhuman powers. The cybernetic chips were ultimately made illegal due to numerous side effects. Damien, a former soldier, seeks to make these enhancements available to all. He builds a cybernetic empire that clashes with rival factions and an anti-cybernetic police force in a battle for power.

Ascendance is a violent platform fighter with darker themes than most, featuring blood and gore within matches.


The demo features 2 fighters, Damien and Jax, with unlimited access to the versus and training mode.

• A fully-fleshed versus mode, made to engage in fast-paced competitive action.
  
• Interchange between 6 unique cybernetic abilities to adapt to your own playstyle, or counter others.
  
• Play through the singleplayer Empire campaign to build your own cybernetic empire and defeat Damien- or assume his role as the kingpin of the underground cybernetic market. Roam the world of Ascendance and grow your assets to overcome the other cybernetic dealers.
  
• Choose from the roster of 5 unique fighters, hand-drawn, animated and voiced to match their backstories and cybernetic abilities.
  
• Practice in a thought-out and comprehensive training mode, made to help you perfect combos and your favorite character.
  
• Join the Ascendance Fighters Discord community, where tournaments are hosted and online matches are found. Elo rankings are implemented, and allow you to compare your skills against other players.
