While we've undergone multiple internal adjustments during development, we now plan to incorporate user feedback throughout the process to enhance its polish. We believe this approach will deliver a more refined experience at launch.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim for a full release within Q1 2026.
(The official release date may be adjusted depending on the developer's circumstances.)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Based on the Early Access version currently launching, we plan to gradually expand the quantity and quality of future content within the established framework.

Development will focus on adding more bosses, more diverse weapons and artifacts, and enhancing the game's polish as a roguelike. During the Early Access period, we will provide continuous updates whenever new content is ready.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay system—selecting two out of five weapons and actively switching between them during combat—is already complete. Currently, two chapters are implemented. With five weapon types and three form variations per weapon, players can utilize a total of 20 distinct weapons.

Additionally, the relic system, which randomly awards items upon clearing stages, ensures a fresh play experience each time.
Moving forward, we plan to gradually expand the quantity and quality of these elements—weapons, relics, chapters—to deliver even more diverse fun.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game price during the Early Access period will be “the same” as the price at official launch.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During the Early Access period, we aim to gather players' actual experiences and diverse feedback to develop the game together.
We will actively monitor and incorporate opinions shared not only on Soul Wander's Steam Community Discussion Board but also through other platforms, striving to improve the game into a more polished experience.”

In a world stripped of color, a child embarks on a journey alone

In a village where none can possess color, a child named ‘Fade’ was born—the only one with the power to wield color.

[Soul Wander] is a pixel-graphic 2D action roguelike game.

Progress through side-scrolling stages, dodging relentless enemy attacks and utilizing powerful weapons to break through.

Weapon Switching Combat

Choose two weapons from the initial five types to build your own playstyle, then actively switch weapons to unleash powerful abilities.

Each weapon possesses an enhancement that transforms its form, altering its normal attacks and skills into entirely different styles.

Furthermore, you can infuse souls into weapons to enhance their stats, gaining an advantage in battle.

Constant Threats, Repeated Challenges

Five distinct regions exist, each inhabited by unique races.

The cold snowfields hold the ferocious wolf race, the tranquil forests hold the deer race, the stormy seas hold the shark race, the scorching desert holds the snake race, and the enchanted castle holds the fox race.

Enemies will relentlessly swarm you, and increasingly powerful foes will threaten your survival.

Swiftly eliminate enemies to harvest their souls, nurturing the Tree of Light on the battlefield to gather colored fruits.

Collecting these fruits grants you artifacts imbued with powerful effects.

Face over 40 types of common enemies, over 10 types of elite foes, and formidable bosses,

surviving in this faded world.
