Skyfarm is a cozy single-player 3D farming simulation set atop a post-apocalyptic urban rooftop, where you'll cultivate a garden using permaculture principles. As you nurture your rooftop oasis, you'll create self-regulating ecosystems that produce food and increase biodiversity, all while interacting with fellow rooftop gardeners to exchange materials and unlock new plants, zones, and garden elements.

It's been ten years since the great flood destroyed everything. The entire city is submerged, with water reaching up to the third floor, never receding. The famine that followed led to the rise of Skyfarms on the rooftops, producing just enough food for the city's survivors. You are unauthorized, tasked with working this garden using everything at your disposal. You receive food and necessities through various machines. Occasionally, a drone lands by the water tank, replacing the box with spare parts, new seeds, or seedlings. The analyzer guides you on how to tend the garden, while the converter tells you what to harvest. As you lean over the railing, you can hear the water far below in the fog and wonder what it will be like once you’ve earned your citizenship in the community below.

But you are not alone in this task. Together with a cute cat and a community of helpful Skyfarmers on other buildings, you can make the rooftop your home and create a cozy, beautiful garden.

• Balance your garden ecosystem: Skyfarm offers a detailed gardening simulation where plants have specific growth conditions, seasonal cycles, and interactions with other species. Each plant has unique needs, and you'll need to carefully balance light, water, and soil conditions to ensure a healthy harvest.Your goal is to create a diverse and resilient ecosystem that produces the necessary harvests that you can exchange for localCoin. Start with a small patch of land and gradually expand your farm by mastering complex mechanics like soil regeneration, companion planting, and water management. 

• Sell your Harvest: Trade your harvests for localCoin, craft materials, and new plants. Respond to the needs of the high-rise community, and get rewarded with new building plans, materials and plants.

• Crafting and Decorating: Make yourself at home in your flourishing garden oasis by crafting new garden elements and cute decorations.

• Community: As you progress, you'll establish relationships with other Skyfarmers. Exchange knowledge, tools and plants and become a valuable member of the Skyfarmer community.

• Increase Biodiversity and find new Species: Find as many different species as possible and find out how they fit into your garden’s ecosystem. Create new biomes to attract different species and exchange rare finds with the community. A journal, complete with hand-painted sketches and descriptions, helps you track your progress and expand your gardening knowledge.

• Resource Management: Manage water, energy, and other resources wisely to keep your farm thriving. Utilize renewable resources and adapt to changing conditions to create a sustainable environment.

• Companionship: Look after and befriend a cat and together, enjoy the beautiful environment you've created.
