DEMO CONTENT

The Skygard Arena Demo contains the following:

• 4 introductory missions of 10-20 minutes each

• 7 Champions in total - Unlock the full roster by playing games against AI or in online matchmaking. Each Champion has their own alternate Persona, with their own skillset, which you can unlock by playing the Champion.

• Over 50 items in total - 4 unlockable items per Persona. 

• Matches against AI:

  • Classic AI: perfect to train over your first games

  • Experimental AI: developed in-house, inspired by chess engines. Try to defeat it and let us know what you think!

• Online 1v1 matches through our global matchmaking system.

  • Worldwide leaderboard

• Online 1v1 matches against friends. (Please note your friend must have installed the demo as well.)

Please note: Skygard Arena Demo does not give access to the solo campaign mode currently in development. This Demo is a separate experience, mainly designed to enable you to discover the gameplay of Skygard Arena. The first chapters of the single-player campaign mode will be available when Skygard Arena launches in Early Access in 2024!

About This Demo

Welcome to Skygard!

In this Demo version, you’ll have access to the in-development version of the Arena mode of Skygard Arena.

• Discover Skygard Arena - Play through 4 introductory missions to discover the basics of the game. 

• Single-player or multiplayer - Play games against two different AIs, or online against friends or other players in matchmaking. No time or game limits!

• Build your own teams - Choose your Champions and their Personas, alternate versions with their own moveset and playstyle. Equip them with game-changing Artifacts. Save your presets and experiment until you find your own dream team!

• Progression system - Quickly unlock new Champions, Personas and their Artifacts simply by playing.

• A colorful roster of 7 Champions - Champions are at the center of Skygard Arena, each with their own playstyle and skills. Unlock the full roster by playing more games against AI or in online matchmaking. Please note that more Champions will be available in the full version of the game.

• Tactical skirmishes - Position your Champions strategically and choose wisely which skills to use every turn. Pick up ultimate charges to unleash devastating spells and turn the tide of battle!

• Different paths to victory - Gradually build up your advantage by taking control of the Pillars in the Arena to score victory points and open new deployment options. But you can also risk it all with an all-in assault on your opponent’s Core Pillar: capturing it will grant you an immediate win!

• Each turn is dynamic - You always have multiple options to reposition your team and outmaneuver your opponents: use dash skills, spend your movement points or teleport your Champions between two Pillars under your control!

• Assemble a team that fits your playstyle - Combine 3 Champions and deeply personalize them to build a unique squad, amongst thousands of possibilities.

• 1 Champion, 2 Personas - The personality of each Champion is embodied by 2 different Personas which alter their gameplay and skillset. Choose wisely which one you will bring to the Arena.

• Game-changing Artifacts - Each Champion can carry one Artifact. Each of these items Artifacts either enhance their stats or change their gameplay. Will you equip Champei with the Crimson Gem to apply Bleed all over your enemy team, or do you prefer the Iron Chains to slow down enemies?

• Theorycraft for hours! - Champions have dedicated mechanics synergizing with one another. Find out the best combinations to surprise and outwit your opponent in battle!

• Short and intense battles - Build your own teams to break the meta, then beat your opponent in 15-minute 1v1 skirmishes.

• Casual or competitive, always a challenge - Battle against classic AI or face our in-house, experimental AI, inspired by chess game engines for a new challenge. Prefer playing against other players instead? Jump into casual games against your friends or climb through the PvP ranks to prove your mastery on the leaderboard!

Skygard Arena is planned to release in Early Access later this year, in 2024.
