About This Game

Sunken Veins is an intense resource management horror game set on an underwater mining facility. After your escape pod failed to launch during an emergency evacuation, you were left stranded at the bottom of the ocean.

You must manage your resources in order to survive long enough to send a distress signal, whilst avoiding an intelligent AI-driven creature and overwhelming floods of water.

INTENSE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

• Keep the furnace powered to operate an underwater drill, which provides you with valuable coal and other resources. Without coal, you cannot power the facility.

• Repair leaks to prevent water from slowing down your progress. As water floods the facility, it disrupts electronics and increases the time to send the distress signal.

• Balance mining and repairing. Mining creates stress, and stress creates leaks. How will you manage your time to prevent a total collapse?

ADAPTIVE AI CREATURE

• Stay out of sight of an adaptive AI creature that reacts to your actions and chooses new strategies based on how you play.

• Adapt to the creature as it adapts to you - It learns new strategies based on the way you behave.

TOOLS AND UPGRADES

• Resources you gather can be used to craft tools to help keep floods away.

• Components allow you to upgrade doors, drains, vacuum bots and many other things. Upgrade and adapt based on how you want to survive.

DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT

• Wade through dynamic physics driven water that interacts with the environment and the player. Floods spread into the facility and create new challenges and opportunites.

• Manage light systems to illuminate the facility, or disable them to cover yourself in darkness. Staying in the dark keeps you hidden from danger... but also makes it harder to see.

• Close doors to block off floods and other dangers, or keep them open to allow water to flow freely.

TWITCH CHAT INTEGRATION

• Create custom commands that viewers can use to interact with the environment as you play.

• Allow viewers to open doors, control lights, add stress, start floods and many more actions.

• Set cooldowns for effects to control how much influence chat has.
