Why Early Access?

“After participating in Steam Next Fest, we received tons of valuable feedback from players. By launching in Early Access, we hope to gather even more input while getting the game into the hands of eager players sooner. Don’t worry—Aotenjo is a game with a clear gameplay loop. The core gameplay in the EA version has been mostly developed and offers a substantial amount of content for players. We will also adjust the focus of future development based on feedback from EA players, introducing fun gameplay features such as "Challenge Mode."”

“We’re focused on improving the player experience and plan to refine and expand Aotenjo over the next year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce more content throughout Early Access. This includes 16 unique decks, more gadgets, artifacts, and tile upgrades, offering even greater variety and strategic possibilities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Aotenjo launches with:
  • 6 starting decks, each with unique artifacts for a completely distinct gameplay experience.
  • 185 artifacts, 102 Patterns, and 21 tile upgrades across 3 sets.
  • 8 progression levels to challenge your skills.
Additionally, we’ve revamped the game’s UI/UX and visuals.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current price reflects the game’s early development state and serves as a thank-you to players supporting us during Early Access. As we expand the content of the game, the price may increase with the full release.”

With over 100 Patterns and 144 unique Artifacts, every hand you play can unleash unbelievable combos. Adapt and strategize to use the right gadgets at the right time, or activate the rarest Patterns to turn the tide in your favor.

Aotenjo's levels are seeded to generate new Artifacts, gadgets, and augments each time you play. No two runs are the same, ensuring a fresh and challenging experience with every game.
