The end of the XIX century. Winter. The construction of the longest railway in the world is in full swing. But a sudden series of bloody deaths shocks builders and engineers. Torn bodies, dusted with a light snowball.. People refuse to work and hurriedly run away from their posts. The Great Way is in danger of being disrupted.

An ambitious investigator, armed with observation, a sharp mind and an iron will, begins to unravel the tangle of intrigues, secrets and bloody secrets hiding in the snowy taiga.
