About This Game

Moon 2999 is an epic role playing strategy game about multiple factions and their struggle for control of the moon.

As the commander of one of these factions, the player will manage resources, construct buildings, equip units, and control their troops during tactical single player or co-op battles.

Set in the year 2999 when humanity has spread across parts of the solar system, but centuries of political tension have fractured civilizations into powerful factions and rival empires.

As the protagonist Commander of a Moon base, your task is to expand and upgrade your colony, recruit allies, and venture into deep space.

You will face relentless alien hordes, challenge mighty bosses, and fight for ancient artifacts and precious resources that could decide the fate of your faction.

You will supervise and enhance base operations and undertake a variety of missions, encompassing engagements with aliens, bounty hunting, factional conflicts, and PvP combat.

Every choice, every battle, and every alliance will shape not only your base, but also the destiny of the galaxy itself.

Bounty hunting

Moon 2999 is rich in content and features and allows you to construct buildings, recruit units and lead

battles against other factions and Kragh aliens. You can construct a wide range of buildings, from command

centers and military missions to production plants and research centers. Buildings can be upgraded to

increase their power and efficiency. You can also recruit troops to protect your colony and attack enemies.

There is a significant variety of units available, each with unique skills and different weapons. Battles take

place in real-time or turn-based, and by clever use of tactics and strategy you will gain an advantage over

your opponents. You may upgrade your units by gaining experience on the battlefield.

The Kraghs

Species: Hostile aliens (xeno-intelligent)
Suspected origin: Unknown star system, beyond Alpha Centauri
First appearance: 2950
Primary motivations: Retrieval of ancient technologies, purification of the Solar System from “corrupted” life forms, biological and energetic dominance.
First encounter: Asteroid Belt

Description

The Kraghs are an ancient alien species, highly evolved both biologically and mineralogically.
Their chitinous skin is laced with luminescent veins that channel an unknown form of energy — a kind of bioplasma.
Their biology appears to be symbiotic with microscopic energy-based organisms, granting them the ability to manipulate matter and electromagnetic fields directly, with no apparent mechanical technology.

Their language is based on infrasonic vibrations and patterns of light emission, making direct communication nearly impossible for humans.
Early analyses (RAK and Luna Labs, 2954) suggest they operate through a hierarchical collective intelligence, similar to a hive mind controlled by a central psychic core.

Motivations and Objectives

The Kraghs are not conquerors in the traditional sense.
Their objective appears to be the recovery and reactivation of ancient artifacts scattered across the Moon, Mars, and the Asteroid Belt — the same relics discovered by the Terrans, Luna, and Centurians between 2954 and 2990.

According to intercepted transmission fragments, they view humanity as a mistake of evolution, a species that defiled sacred relics of a vanished civilization they call “The Architects.”
Their campaign is not one of occupation, but of purification — an attempt to prevent humans from awakening or exploiting forbidden technologies.
