«Touhou Danmaku Maze is a difficult game that contains game genres and unique patterns and gimmicks that are not normally seen in arcade games. This makes it extremely hard for the team to determine the best course of action for the experience of the players. We plan on using early access as a way to allow players to get a first look at these patterns and suggest changes that will allow more players to enjoy this game.»

2> Visual Novel Cutscenes from the start of the game to the end

«This early access version of the game contains our 4th overhaul of the engine and we feel confident in the style and gameplay. This may change on community feedback but for the time being, we are moving forward with this game engine.

Touhou Danmaku Maze redefines the maze genre by thinking outside the labyrinth—literally! Instead of hazards confined within the walls, the danger comes from beyond, unleashing a relentless barrage of danmaku (bullet hell patterns) that force you to weave, dodge, and strategize your way to victory.

This game puts a heavy emphasis on high-speed, precision-based gameplay with a strong speedrunning focus.
