New game prototype



Hello!

My name is David, I am the developer of Starship Corporation and I feel grateful for your interested in my creation.
While continuing to improve and the expand this game, I have developed a prototype for a much smaller game that is very different, focusing on the space within. It is an interactive novel that let’s players experience different lives, but also add their own life experiences - using a unique new game mechanic to explore how free will requires awareness and self-empathy.

Main Game and DLC Bugfixes



This is a little update following up the DLC release - thank you very much for the bug reports.
I have added the "Pipette" feature to improve ease and efficiency while building, and fixed some issues.
Some facilties in the health category have changed slots recently, so I you have older ship classes that don't have a correct room list, I suggest opening them in ship design and overwriting the old file. The same applies if you get a skippable "mission7 missing" error.

Gameplay:

- added "Pipette" feature: Hold <Control> and click on an existing room to duplicate it.
- added warning message for mining operation mission if essential equipment is missing.
- raised the research cost for STAM technology

Bugfixes:

- fixed error message when bridge is removed
- fixed error message when computer is removed
- fixed erroneous room list in galaxy map (old ships might need to be updated)
- fixed roadwork/mining functionality in galaxy map
- fixed deck number display for Dromeas, Monadyr and Visala

Starship Corporation is a starship-building simulation game in which you must design and build spaceships for a hugely demanding galaxy-wide market. It is you who must decide which technologies to invest in first, where to open new shipyards and where to establish new markets.



Pick the right fuselage and design every little detail about the interior layout of your creations, from the location of the bridge, engines, generators and crew quarters to the position of each elevator, corridor and hatch. Your choices determine your ship’s efficiency, price and performance in deep space.



Gain an intergalactic reputation by training your crew in a series of real-time strategy missions, to simulate emergency or combat situations, and test your vessel’s capabilities to their limit, so that they are ready to face the dangers of outer space, whether clearing routes from asteroids, mining resources, hunting pirates or trading with far-away settlements.



Decide which star systems are the most profitable, and which business relationships are sustainable. The campaign lets you explore peaceful entrepeneurship as well as ruthless war profiteering.
