Escape the Kreegan is a Top Down, Sci-fi Themed, Twin-stick Shooter

The Year is 2845, mankind has expanded towards the stars, due to the fanatical loyalty to the Lords of the Counsel of 13 and an incident of a missing colony ship, the Empire has incited war against a not-so friendly alien threat, known as the Kreegan.

In what seems like a now long ago battle over the skies of Kepler V, you were recognized for significant feats of bravery and as a tactical genius, earning you the rank of Major First Class for your efforts.

To your dismay, shortly after the ceremony, on the mother ship serving as the headquarters for the Counsel of 13, you overhear one of the Lords discussing a deal to sacrifice some of the Empires territory, leaving its people behind to face ruin.

As you are discovered, you choose to escape this corruption and deliver truth to the people in the only way you know how. as a space fighter pilot!
You steal a ship and flee, it falls to you to duke it out in space and deliver truth to the people. Restore peace. Restore justice. Save humanity and Escape The Kreegan!
