About This Game

Nocturnal 2 is a fast-paced Metroidvania with a fiery twist. As a master of the Enduring Flame technique, your sword burns relentlessly. This flame allows you to repel the encroaching obscurity, unleash flaming abilities, and carve your way through an interconnected city. 

However, the Flame's power is both fierce and fragile; enemies will stop at nothing to extinguish your blade and trap you in the dark. Once your flame dies out, you’ll have only seconds to reignite it.

  • Traverse a city plunged into total darkness and light your path using your fiery sword and throwing daggers.

  • With only a single health point, clinging to your flames will be essential for survival.

  • Collect and combine gems to unlock new abilities, access new paths, and tailor your combat style.

  • Burn through obstacles and enemies in a world where everything reacts to your fire.

  • Enjoy hand-drawn 2D animations brought to life with intricate fire effects and intense combat sequences.
