森の中、気を失っていた臆病な少年は、
一緒に居た妹の姿が見当たらない事に気付く。

慌てた少年は、近くで踊っている不思議な生物『ベレト』に
恐る恐る話しかけ、ここが現実とは異なる森だと教えられる。

それでも妹を探すという少年。
妹を探す手伝いをするというベレト。

一人と一匹は森の中、不気味に佇む洋館へと足を踏み入れる……。
