One of the core reasons for getting this kind of support during Early Access is: being a small indie company, it can be difficult to anticipate the nuances that come from a small testing group. For example, a mechanic that may seem trivial and simple to perform from the developers' perspective because the developer has tested the functionality many times during development, would actually turn out to be tedious or unclear to a general player.
