Overview:

The Rake is an open-world survival horror game where you hunt down & kill The Rake. You can use cameras, guns, beartraps, bait, and anything else you can find to defend yourself against The Rake and any other wild animals you come across while exploring and doing quests in the detailed and realistic open world. if you'd like to give me suggestions, feedback, ask me question, or just want keep up with announcements, trailers, and new screenshots join the Discord. There is also a currently an on-going Analog Horror series in-universe that you can find on the Kanoleiro YouTube channel.

Lore: 

The main campaign takes place in Hells Valley National Park in Pennsylvania, which has been closed off to the public for years due to dozens of murders and unexplained disappearances. You have been invited by your friend to help him hunt The Rake after years of tracking down its home. You arrive only to find a blood stain, flashlight, and frantically written note. This is where the Main Quest picks up, which revolves around going from location to location searching for your friend while completing mini-objectives and having to defending yourself from The Rake along the way. It's optional so if you want to just explore the map and kill the rake you can do that too.

Analog Horror:

The game also has an analog horror series that takes place fully in-universe. The first season is currently on-going & will give backstory/lore for the first campaign: Hells Valley National Park & future seasons will focus on future maps and campaigns slowly building and expanding the world and universe. You can watch the full series as its coming out on the Kanoleiro YouTube channel with the link in the Steam-page.
