Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Brawlygon is a fighting game, so bug testing, game feel and balancing are very crucial to the player experience. Early Access will allow me to get feedback, so when the game fully releases, it can be in the most polished state possible for the full release. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« Hopefully, just a year or two. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« As of now, Early access has 8 characters & stages, as well as offline multiplayer modes, & an incomplete arcade and challenge mode.
More characters and stages are currently being added & worked on, as well as expanding the arcade & challenge modes, until all content for the full release has been completed. The current ui, vfx, sfx, and bgm are not final, and may undergo frequent/major changes until release.
The plan is to have at least 12 characters, an unspecified number of stages, as well as the complete arcade & challenge modes for the full launch.
After release, more characters and stages could potentially be added for free, or at a low cost.
A training (stage, based on the traditional, grid-style training mode stages found in many fighting games), is also planned for development.
Online communication (voice chat) is a possible, but no plans have been made for it. »

« Currently around 60% of the planned full game, content wise. 8 out of the 12 base characters are mostly complete, and the other additional launch characters (beyond the base 12), have no progress whatsoever. Ui, vfx, bgm and sfx are unfinished, Arcade and Challenge mode are functional but lack polish, and online has not been implemented. »

« Price will likely change after Early Access, but the plan is to remain inexpensive. Being affordable is one of the ways Brawlygon is intending to be an approachable fighting game. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« This is a fighting game, so naturally community involvement is incredibly important to its development. Game mechanics, balance, new content... all of that and more will be influenced by community feedback. Communication through email is fine, but I will primarily communicate through Steam forums, YouTube, Twitter/X, & eventually Discord. »

Jump into the world of Brawlygon!
Master mechanical mix-ups as the robot, armor aggressive attacks as the knight, practice patience and precision as the cowboy, or mystify the mid-range as the mage, there's a wide variety of fighters to choose from, as fighters from around the world, through time, and across dimensions, have come together, to beat the polygons out each other! With a planned base roster of 12+ characters (possibly more), and additional characters after launch.

Brawlygon sets out to fill the gap between high and low difficulty fighting games, being approachable, yet complex. implementing the simple control scheme of platform fighters, and a good variety of attacks for you to play around with, all while you dodge, dash, run and roll around the stage with a wide array of defensive and mobility options! There're also a few twists thrown into the genre, like making defense the most effective way to build meter, while introducing "Piercing" attacks, which deal more damage on BLOCK than on hit! Every character also utilizes the "stamina" and "energy" meter differently, so you'll have to learn how manage each individual fighter's resources effectively!
