“Terminal Error is a highly experimental game. As such, we want as much feedback and help as possible to mold the game into a truly memorable experience. Moreover, the game has a long development timeline, thus pushing us to release in Chapters and make adjustments along the way.”

“The game will likely be in Early Access until early 2026. However, it will periodically have major updates revealing new areas and new plot points for the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend to add alot of content during the Early Access, collecting feedback and processing it to make the best possible game we can with the community. The full game will be the culmination of all that, encompassing all the new maps, designs, monsters and chapters we have built along the way.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access includes the first part of Chapter 1, introducing the Player to the world of Terminal Error and it's mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase throughout the Early Access up until the Final Release. Price changes will only occur during significant updates, and we will warn the community beforehand if we are increasing prices in any way.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is crucial for us. Collecting feedback and suggestions is at the heart of this project, to make the experience truly unique. We are also looking into developing future streams of communication with the community to better collaborate on this project.”

About This Game

Thrust into the unfamiliar world of Site 41, play as a clueless soldier stuck in the middle of a sudden compound-wide emergency. Traverse unsettling environments, solve challenging puzzles and discover grotesque truths in this frightening and surreal reimagining of the point-and-click horror genre.

TERMINAL ERROR takes place in the bleak and oppressive tunnels of Site 41, a secretive underground facility housing obscured and experimental technologies. Established by the Island Armed Forces (IAF), a professional army paranoid with maintaining their iron grip on military supremacy, the compound was meant to run endlessly. However, this perfect machine isn’t what it seems…

The plot begins with a freshly deployed soldier suddenly awakening to a foreign and suspiciously desolate guardhouse. Meeting a mysterious companion over the intercoms, the newfound allies investigate the cause of some seemingly unexpected system failures, picking up a few more rowdy friends along the way.

Stumble into a terrifying rabbit hole filled with dangerous secrets and reveal a horrific world buried beneath the ground...
