“《创造都市岛物语》应该是开罗游戏“题材最大”的一次了，直接跳出了小店铺、小场所的范围，转为经营一整个城市，因此本作中也做了不少的机制创新，来支撑“城市建设”的题材。本作仍然是重布局的玩法，摆放装饰物、店铺提升地价；但这作也更重视角色养成，有点类似于《冒险村物语》，每一个住在城市里的人都会成为城市资源的一部分，可以派遣他们参加各种比赛、决议会等等，所以本作总的来说就是既养一方水土也养一方人。”
